Football fan killed at Stoke
Football fan killed at the Britannia after being hit on the head by a bin...

Seemingly no Stoke fans involved thankfully.

It's a sad state off affairs that this happened, especially at our beloved Brit, as now it will be synonymous with violence and bad behaviour. Hope the guy in custody gets done for manslaughter. Like you say, just glad there were no City fans involved. RIP John Taylor.

Im not a Stoke fan ( a long suffering Wolves fan me), but as soon as i heard of this i thought that maybe an away fan had got into one of the home stands n started something or vice versa.
But this goes to show that you aint even safe with your own supporters.
A real shame. We really dont need incidents like this tarnishing the game, no matter which ground its in.
And then the news comes out about Ricardo Fullers alleged incident on Sunday morning.
As you say, the press etc will now jump on the bandwaggon n label the club as badly behaved from n isolated incident.
