Sorry if it's a stupid question but, what's the 'Mystery of the missing ale house'?

The rather beautiful pub pictured above was in the way of the Queensway roundabout at the end of Lichfield Road. It was carefully, and expensively, dismantled in 1976, with a view to being rebuilt at a later date in another, unspecified location. It was subsequently, and I believe, almost immediately, chucked away and forgotten, never to be seen again.
It's probably in someone's garage...

Back of one of the telephone boxes of the sadly neglected Co-op to P&A Collonade still supports one also.
Any more?
Having conducted extensive surveys of the area in question this very day, i have to report that the one on the telephone box is the sole survivor - 'Lonely Guy' leaves no other lasting mark.

I'm afraid that none of those shops still has any imprimatur.

That makes me feel both SAD and LONELY. :(
Found one more today, in the alley that passes the Methodist Church between Sainsburys and the Market. A bit of a prototype perhaps - LOVE HURTS :( - is how it appears.

Polish football grafitti on a billboard near Marston Road (Ruch Chorzow)
There used to be some Polish grafitti in the alley-way at the back of the Odeon, but I could never remember it for long enough to get home, and then it was removed.
