I was looking out for forum members all day but I still don’t have a clue!
I was there but heavily disguised, in that I didn't have a spaniel with me. So even friends and family were unlikely to recognise me. My stepson was playing and had persuaded me to take pictures - despite my very clear policy of only photographing owls and dogs. I hadn't been for years - since Gillie Nicholls used to play there and it was free, I think. It was lovely then, to sit on the grass and enjoy the music but I think it was sensible in this rubbish weather, to be able to tell people that they could go and listen to the music whether it rained or not. I felt sorry for the musicians where I was (in the main stand) because there were so few people actually sitting in there, watching them.

How do I edit this?
Jolly good you were too.

Are you auditioning for a backing singer?

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

We have no plans to add a backing singer to the line up. Especially not a drunken middle aged lady whose trousers won't stay up.

I wrote a blog post venting some frustrations about the experience of being invaded on stage.

The rubbish weather was the cause of the change in plan - normally they have a sound stage on a gert big boogie-bus (well, a truck) but the state of the ground meant they could not park it where it would have gone without damaging what is, after all, a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Indeed - let's hope that normal service, and weather, returns next year.

She also auditioned for the very last act on the main stage however she was forcibly removed - Im sure we'll be seeing her on some dire tv talent show soon...
