Should Batman be banned?

A few posts under my belt
For books to films, a couple of films that are better than the books are Fight Club and Blade Runner (based on Do Androids dream of electric sheep).both books are good, but the films are better. Although, blade runner probably doesn't count because it takes the term "based on" to a new level.

I rather like the film version of Catch-22 - i believe this is a minority view.

The book is better, admittedly, but the film is good too.

I think they should ban batman it is a bad influence, after seeing the film the next day i scrapped my knee on a wall after my grappling hook failed :)

not a film, but the tv series Dexter is one of the best things i've ever seen on the box, but the books are shit.. the first one is OK, but they get worse as the series goes on.. the 3rd book is the only book i can remember having to really force myself to finish, and even now i can't really remember what happened lol..

I rather liked the books of Dexter, be interesting to see how the TV series goes now the end of the last series kinda ties in with the end of the first book.
