Today I saw...

... nothing of note.

Though it may be worth mentioning in the circumstances that after the Restoration, Charles II had Cromwell disinterred and beheaded as a traitor. Charles II had 'issues'.

He was also bountiful in the other sort of issue but not, on the whole, with his wife.

On this historical note - at the weekend we are going to stay in the once royal hunting lodge of Charles II and Nell Gwynn - I will be on my very best posh behaviour :)

Yesterday I saw....a quarry, some pools, a horse, some dogs fighting, some sand, two squirrels, an R C track and some sandstone - all at Park Hall Hills. I also saw a natural spring, some ducks, geese and swans and two big fat rats, all at Park Hall Lake :)

Do they still have the giant crucifixes on top of the hill? It amazed me that nobody has ever been nailed to them...

Yes and No. There are 3 metal boxs bolted and padlocked into the ground facing the lake (I nearly rolled down the hill just there yesterday!), husband, who is from up that way says that they bring the crosses out at Easter and put them in the box type supports. They must just stay there during the Easter festivals then be taken back down.

A grown man (not a young man or student) wearing a shark onesie walking down the road!
Now I know it's a bit nippy today but I tend to think this latest fashion fad should not be foisted on the general public - I'm quite dubious about people even wearing them in the privacy of their own homes!
(for those unhip and trendy amongst you a onesie is basically an adult babygro!)

Im sorry to inform you that you missing out! Onesie's are amazing! (I own three, one for every occasion!)
:)
