Today I saw...

...some chocolates in a carrier bag.

An old dear gave them to me. They were contained in an A4 size bag from the Card Factory. It's a sort of semi-transparent bag in a dusky pink colour - and she had knotted the top.

It looked exactly like a full pooper-scooper bag....

An old lady who had a long piece of toilet paper hanging out the back of her trousers. I discreetly told her and she wasn't a bit embarrassed, just pulled the paper out her knickers and threw it in the bin,

... a cloud in the shape of a snail.

I cannot, surely, be the only one who sees the shape of a snail and automatically *thinks* Brian?

Which then makes you wonder how many people, having spawned a man-child within the past x years, have considered, or indeed decided, to name it Brian.

Which in turn makes you kind of assume that the answer to the question you have just posed yourself is 'probably not many, if any at all'.

Which inescapably leads you to ponder upon whether the name 'Brian' is on the verge of extinction.

Which then makes you wonder whether this is either a good, bad or none-of-the-above kind of thing - which you end up not generating a satisfactory answer to.

Which tends to make yourself wonder why you might keep sending yourself down blind hypothetical alleyways regarding something that ultimately has no consequence at all.

Nice to see a discernible shape in a cloud like that though.

... snot.

And lots of it - for the love of biscuits where does it all come from?

It is scarcely believable that i have imbibed enough 'stuff' in the past 24 hours that could possibly account for the amount of effluent that has subsequently come out.

By all that is rational and reasonable i should be little more than a dry husk by now.

... a very low-flying Chinook, a cheerful looking Goldilox, the inside of the Hollybush at Seighford, the outside of a pair of pints therein, and the most perfectly round bald patch gracing a chap walking toward Baswich - so perfect was it, i did wonder whether he had possibly been tonsured, but thought it slightly unlikely.

All in a day's shirk. :)

Actually, it was yesterday, whilst I was stuck in the snow-bound traffic - a sign which said "Do Not Enter Guard Dogs" - good advice, I thought.

... a geezer on skis. So i made up the word 'skeezer' to describe such a person.

I haven't had time to see whether it is a unique neologism yet, but doubt it is likely to catch on anyway.

Skeezer - a geezer on skis. I like it, anyway. :)

Having now had time to look into the whole affair i discover that 'skeezer' is already taken.

Apparently it means a 'woman of loose morals' or some such - like the world needs another misogynistic word for that, eh readers? At this rate half the words in the world are going to mean a 'woman of loose morals'.

I am f**king this
