Indeed. But it's just a bit pointless for them to lead the innocent to believe that there are no floods in the area when there are...Errrm I wonder if its because I'm logged in ...any way use the link I put up mate
Best of luck! I've tried to explain to the Met Office that showing the temperatures from yesterday - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/...&fcTime=1359174250&zoom=5&lon=-4.00&lat=55.67 - is probably not what people are looking for, when other screens show you the position now....I'll send an e-mail off and ask why mate ...but as to getting a reply
Mmm, beware of problems with the search on the Environment Agency Flood Warnings page - I got no results when I searched with my Postcode, just a few hundred yards from Sandyford Brook, but the traditional 'flood at the garage' did appear when I searched 'Stafford'..
No big deal to me, but it would surely be better if it worked properly.
And they spell Shugborough as Shrugborough, but who cares, enough people round here do that...
Flooding on a34 at Meaford this morning : http://alittlebitofstone.com/2013/01/27/flooding-closes-a34-in-both-directions/
you might want to use the m6 if heading north
That implies thought. Many people apparently don't 'do' thinking on our roads it seems.Yet again, services had to pull cars out of the Meaford flood! Can people not see the width and length of the flood and then guess they may have inlet issues?

Yer not wrong! Something that has also become apparent is awareness of surroundings. While road markings have been covered with snow, many can't tell where the left hand side of the road is? Here's a clue - it's the opposite side to the vehicle approaching you!

...what happens when there's an AMBER WARNING? All of them go to amber?!When the Met Office issue a RED WARNING all the traffic lights in that area turn to red as it is too dangerous to drive
