Free Virgin Trains bacon and sausage baps

Yesterday morning Virgin Trains set up a burger bar style trailer outside the front of the station and were giving away free bacon or sausage baps to say thank you for customers' support.

Good to see the profits they can't keep at the moment being re-invested in the good people of Stafford for once.

Ooh I hope they're doing the same on Friday when I'm off to Liverpool!

Not sure if it was a one day offer as I didn't get the train today. I'll check in the morning and let you know if they do.

If not the buffet do a bacon roll for £1 with a hot drink but the rolls are quite chewy.

Bad news I'm afraid - the free bap stall has gone so it must have been a one day special.

Saw a couple of friends on Facebook had managed to acquire a free Breakfast.

Would be nice if London Midland provided just a decent shelter for us all at Penkridge Station...
