Hayter 'Hunter 46' petrol lawn mower - not been used for two years. Always started first time back then, wouldn't this evening! Maybe dirty fuel, I don't really know. New blade and bag were about a year old when I stopped using it. It's off to the tip or tat man if no one's interested

Is that one of the ones without the primer button? I used to use one that was a bastard to start the first time each year, but would be OK after that. Plug looks OK?

Yep , no primer button. Can't be arsed to mess with it tbh, the new place has got an electric one in the shed which has just worked fine. The Hayter is too big for the postage stamp sized lawn.

Fair enough. The choking of a small engine is always a dodgy affair - too little or too much, which do you want..?

Indeed. Never had to frig with it before and suspect it won't take much sorting but as I said, can't be arsed with it. Damn good mower non the less :)
