Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

proactive

Enjoying a drop of red.
People joining from slip roads who think they have right of way over everybody in the inside lane and either: cut you up when they could easily have eased off the accelerator and slot into a gap behind or run out of slip road and are alongside you (because they either didn't ease off or alternatively accelerate enough) forcing you to change lanes to avoid a dink.
That is really bloody annoying isn't it. I've often thought it would be worth getting an HGV license and buying an old rig, simply to not give way to the blighters and watch the look on their faces when they come off worse.

Same in towns when you get cut up. Old Landrover, don't brake, watch the blighters squirm!

My apologies to the woman in the black Range Rover just now on Marston Road. If only I'd known that you were unable to turn the steering wheel whilst driving at me on the wrong side of the road, then I would instantly have mown down the pedestrians to get out of your, obviously highly important, way.

General moan about people who trundle along slip roads onto the M6 at 30 miles an hour.... very dangerous trying to nudge into a busy motorway when you're eyes are glued to the idiot in front doing 30 and you haven't got the speed when you do need to move over.
OH MY GOD THIS GETS ON MY TITS SO MUCH! people who try and join a motorway at 30mph are bad enough, but when there is someone behind them so they are forcing multiple people to join >50mph traffic at <30mph, it's ridiculously dangerous :grr:

As i was walking in to work a woman decided to take a right.. Off queensway into the path of oncoming traffic the wrong way round the roundabout... It would have been comedy gold if it hadn't been so dangerous. Thank the whoever that the traffic was moving slowly !

I wonder if that's the same black Range Rover that has nearly hit me 4 times now on the double roundabouts heading down to the Milford road - each time its just come straight out of the end of Baswich Lane completely ignoring the fact that I'm already there clearly indicating that I'm turning down towards Milford...

Ah, that sound like the Range Rover that belongs to Staffords very own former Gladiator who I believes lives on a farm near there.

Nearly ended up with a Fiesta caught under my driver's side front at Asda, as far as I am aware are the three lanes not dedicated to the three exits when coming from Lammascote?

Just what I thought, only to have to apply the brakes as they come swinging in from the middle lane to the left, all they managed was to be in front of me all the way round to Tesco's.

Surely you don't expect people to read those...
Of course not! Some people just don't have any idea what they're doing..

if you mean what i think you mean, then yes, i have posted about this annoyance more than once.. people in stafford seem to really struggle with that one - at least once a week someone in the middle lane tries to go into the right-hand lane towards asda, where i'm minding my own business..

and of course, by "minding my own business", i mean "stubbornly sticking to my lane despite knowing they want to come into it, all the while maintaining a slight lead so that they know i'm there and can't merge, hopefully forcing them to carry straight on into town and ruining a small part of their day" :teef:

To the maroon coloured Audi A3, Y reg, with the Dominos Pizza delivery sign on the roof - the red traffic light at the Queensway roundabout by Asda generally means stop, not put your foot down and hope that the traffic coming from the other lane, on a green light, will wait for you. Not the best driving advert for your company.

The last 2 days as I've walked past those islands on Weeping Cross, there has been a car actually going around the island each time and a car coming up to the island from Baswich lane/Lichfield Road has completely ignored the give way lines and come onto the island blasting their horn at the person already half way around the island at the time to get out of their way.
Are they now teaching that the traffic approaching the island has right of way over traffic that's already on the road islands?????

That's not an uncommon tactic in Stafford where there are mini-roundabouts - the Four Crosses one is subject to that technique frequently..

Found that out whilst taking hubby to work a few times, I'm always ready to slam my brakes on there.

I hate the Weeping Cross islands, it always happens there - I do wonder if some people forget that there are actually 2 and just treat the second one as a junction... although I also think there's a prevalence of the 'I'm more important than anyone else' attitude that some people seem to have...

And I never knew Stafford had it's own Gladiator?! I'm assuming their stage name was The Bat (as in 'blind as a...')

We used to get eggs from them when they first bought the place down Baswich lane. Didn't realise she was lightening the gladiator at first, until someone mentioned it on here.

Saw a cyclist come close to being squashed when I walked down milford road this morning. A car coming out of The Crescent had no intention of stopping until he saw a car ,which came up to overtake the cyclist at the time , at the very last minute.
