I stopped visiting when they put Thatchers Gold up to £3.80, not being funny but most pubs charge £3.30 tops. I can get a decent bottle in the Greyhound for £3.35!

Just wanted to ressurect this thread to say that the in-laws and I had a lovely lunch in the Sun a couple of weeks ago. Beef roast, vegetable enchiladas, fish and chips and a perfectly cooked medium rare steak went down a treat, and I'm impressed by the menu as a whole.
It's one of the best restaurant steaks i've had, and that's not too shabby considering it's a real ale pub!
