Been to the festival tonight and one word - "HOT"
Wasn't that busy but I'd expect it to pick up, being cooler in next few days. God knows how hot it would've been in the old Gatehouse set up?
Some decent ales on - Citrus, Summer & Stone the crows being my favourites.

How do I edit this?
I'll be down tonight - we're playing at 7.30ish. :bananarock:

Looking forward to trying some ales while we watch Smith & Bates afterwards too :pint:

basil

don't mention the blinds
Indeed it was hot, at one stage it could have had 50% of attendees outside. Although some were probably having a burger/hotdog or a smoke. A welcome addition this year is the food vendor inside not cheap but quality food indeed. Another welcome also is the increasing number of lady barmen, although I think my old mate Gilbert was sailing close to the wind when he asked the one lady for sample of Black Hole however she took it well adding that was the brewery and their ales were Orbit and Milky Way. "Oh definitely Milky Way for him I remarked" to which she winked and said "nice one Basil". I do hope she's working tonight as I'm bringing some out of town friends along with me........

Hydrated...truly!
Had to wash the smoke away from the barbecue!

Also like the way they've put a standing bar up the middle and the bars are higher this year too so none of that bending for bar staff when they mark your cards.
