Not today, but last night....I found....on the back doorstep - a bag of sausages that the cat had kindly brought me....not the supermarket type either...the type that you get from the butchers...
I apologise most sincerely to whoever was looking forward to their late night feast of sausages, and I didn't spend half an hour laughing at the cheekiness of my cat at all!

I was there when they pulled it - just a Volvo and a bike to start with, but, soon escalated to four or five vans and hoards of coppers - even one on point duty - went on for an hour - I was expecting the helicopter, dogs, horses and the ARU.
