The Former Muse Coffee Bar, St Mary's Mews, Stafford, will re-open as a new indian restaurant to be known as Raas Leela.

Probably a good job they didn't think of opening circa 2006 - otherwise it would almost certainly have been known as the Raas Clart.

Is St Marys mews the bit opposite the church behind Boots/McDonalds......where the school wear/candle/hairdressers is?
I don't recall a coffee shop there, but then I don't tend to walk that way very often.

Is something happening at the old KFC, I noticed earlier that chaining has now appeared all around the car park...is this just to stop people parking there? & if so, why now after all these years?

It does say exactly the aforementioned with note starting with "we are currently closed" quite odd. Website also states along the lines of technical hitch and hopes to be back up soon

You are forgetting john woods and misters in salter street. Ive also heard halpins is not closing if anyone can confirm.
not saying the info is wrong but we have been through this before with rumours of closures that turn out not to be.
