Got woken up today (too early I might add), by my dogs barking the house down like there was an intruder in the house.

Yesterday we had decided we were getting some hens again. 10 year old son must have got excited about the announcement... his 6AM alarm on his mobile phone (left downstairs) was the sound of clucking hens and cockrels. The dog's went crazy - just I I shall when he gets up!!!

We have 2 pure King Charles' and 1 Jackalier (Jack russell x king charles).
Usually I'm no fan of Jack Russels, but the KC in her makes her the most wonderful lapdog ever! :)
Will post some pics at some point

I'm going on a high school practice run today. I need to get timings planned and identify a drop off point which is close enough without damaging street cred. Feel wounded, wounded I tell you! That I'm not cool enough to walk with to the school gates.

Do you still have your old school uniform? Wear that and try to blend in..........

That's just reminded me of the case in the news last year or so, where some old guy was dressing as a school girl and hanging around near to a school freaking out kids. IIRC the judge prohibited him from wearing it between the essential hours when kids are on the way to and from school - but other than that he was free to continue roaming the streets as Britney Spears whenever he felt like it.

PECULIAR OBJECT FOUND Very
peculiar item found on Garden
Street on 16th August It is a glass
ball containing glowing/sparkling
liquid with the ability to move of its
own accord. Its weight has changed
several times since being in my
possession. My friend with a
scientific background said it could
be a "hypersphere", "buckarastano"
or "superconductor", if those terms
means anything to anybody. Please
get in touch if this is yours.

Anyone know anything about it....I'm intrigued!

Why is the HYPERSPHERE shaped like a doughnut?
Today, cosmologists say that the universe of relativity and quantum physics can best be understood when seen as a torus, or doughnut shape. A universe containing black holes, white holes and "wormholes" conforms best to this model. And a torus has the same formula (2pi2r3) as the HYPERSPHERE.
indent.gif
As a model of the universe, the HYPERSPHERE shows how things emerge in time and are enfolded back into fabric of the universe. You can experience this by rotating your HYPERSPHERE through its center.
indent.gif
The HYPERSPHERE also shows how all things in the universe are interconnected, even when they appear to be separate from one another. If you isolate point a from point b in this diagram with cut c, the two points can still be connected--without crossing the cut--by going through the centre:

Mmmm doughnuts...
