Viceroy is a fairly new Indian restaurant, located in Milford Common.

You may have heard the name or even attended before on our opening night (http://www.staffordforum.com/xf/ind...o-a-free-launch-night-in-mid-september.14423/) a few months ago.

We'll be taking bookings for the entire holiday season, with there also being a special festive menu - perfect for an office party or a meal with family. Parties of 8 and more will need to book well in advance.

To book a table, just give us a quick call via 01785663239 or enter your details into the form here: http://www.viceroyrestaurant.co.uk/newsite/book-a-table/

If you fancy browsing our dishes and take a look at the decor, feel free to check out our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ViceRoyStafford/photos_stream?tab=photos_stream

Full address: 8 Brocton Road, Milford Common, Stafford - ST17 0UH

Also, it'd be fantastic to hear the opinions and thoughts of those of you who have visited in the past.

We'd love to see you guys here in the coming weeks - enjoy the holidays!

We have been twice now.

The first time that we came was on a Friday night....we hadn't booked but there were only 2 of us and we were quickly found a table. It was early doors...about 6.30 so had we come later we may have had to wait for a table....it filled up very quickly after we were seated,

We were very impressed by the decor, the ambiance, the serving staff and just the whole thing really.

For us locals its brilliant to not have to drive into town, to be able to park outside and yet have a super meal right on our doorstep.

The food was lovely, really tasty.

The second time we came on a Wed night and there were 4 of us. This time we booked and were given a free glass of wine.....I think you only get this of you book a table on a Wed. Again we had lovely food, lovely service.

For us it so brilliant to have a place like this without having to go into town.

It was packed to the rafters when we went on the Friday so it looks like others feel the same way.

Really disappointed with our take away meals last night from here .. decided to treat ourselves for Christmas and were hopeful that the restaurant would deliver.. however despite the food being bit late on arrival ( which was fine as we appreciated the time of year ,weather etc) the meat was awful and very chewy .. very dissatisfied particularly with the amount paid for the meal

The group of 4 of us (1 bailed) visited NYE. The restaurant wasn't packed, but I'd suggest there were only a couple of tables left.

Without going fully in depth on the evening minute by minute, the group thought the food was delicious. I know that everyone's taste is different, but for us it hit the mark. We particularly liked the naan breads we had.

However, the service didn't match the food. We were left waiting for 10 minutes after seating before being offered even drinks, plates for the main meals were cold, the meals and sides didn't all arrive together - albeit not a large wait - but not quite how it should be. The list continues of little bits and pieces - I'd happily list them all for Rushan if he wished. Nothing bad or terrible in anyway, no rudeness etc., we just didn't think it matched up with the fantastic food, great surroundings and the service we've experienced in other restaurants.

We would all go back again, the food was worth it for us but wouldn't rush back - next purchase might perhaps be a takeaway.

Ordered a delivery recently, it came an hour and 15 minutes later, I'd spent over £19 and the poppadoms didn't even come with "free" dips!?

Whilst the food was very nice, I won't be ordering again purely on there not being any dips supplied.

We phoned up here tonight for a takeaway (delivery) to be told that it would be delivered in an hour and 40 minuites.

We declined.

Got something from Jaflong in Penkridge. It was lovely and £4 cheaper for the same meal.

wanna see my snake?
Tried fir the first time tonight, will also be my last. The duck starter was 3 very thin slices and was freezing cold (as were most dishes), the keema nan looked vegetarian, the korma was such a uniform colour it looked like baby food and tasted like some sort of pudding.

Wish I'd stuck with narvana.

6 of us went to The Viceroy last night.

We’ve had takeaways recently but not dined inside for ages.

Oh my goodness, what a fabulous experience.

They’ve changed the whole menu.
It’s a really upmarket experience now.

We loved it. A bit pricier than a run of the mill Indian but we thought that it was worth it.
