Lets be honest, there isn't really a left wing party any more. Merely Right and not quite so Right.

A question I may have asked before..

Are there any existing MP's who are worthy of their position?

Any party

Enough for a football squad?

Team?

Back four?

'Keeper?

This is a Tory country. After people were allowed to buy their own gas shares back from themselves, few people were going to vote for a government that might take it off them and then give it back to them.

We may soon only have the benefit match for Denis Skinner to look forward to.

I recall a quip about the direct style of football of Wimbledon during the 1990's that the best way to support them was to watch the scores on Teletext.
Sadly the same can be said about the run up to May's General Election. It seems there is more interest in the opinion polls and the effect of split votes on individual seats than there is in policies put forward by parties.

I'm not sure that people really vote on specific policies, they vote on what they think the parties will actually do. That's always been true, and is even truer now, after the Lib Dems behaviour for the last five years.

So the Conservatives will rape the poor and disadvantaged in order to weed out the small minority of shirkers, and ensure their mates get richer and richer whilst the rest of us die because of the lack of health care.

Labour will spend, spend, spend on anything that moves and twitches, bankrupting the entire country and ensuring we all get poorer until Greece takes pity and bails us out. And dump Wallace after 6 months for someone we didn't vote for.

The LibDems will do whatever anyone tells them as long as their limos are shiny.

UKIP will get rid of all foreigners and then turn on themselves because they have no other credible policies, whilst the country disintegrates around them leaving us all to move abroad in order to improve our standard of living.

The Greens won't have any idea what their policies were or how to fund them so they'll nationalise everything and spend like there's no tomorrow and in fact there will be no tomorrow as we'll all die of food poisoning haveing to eat hedgerows and cow pats in order to try to avoid starvation.

The ordinary schmuck in the street (sorry, I mean voter) is fcuked every which way.

The way things work is that whoever is the Prime Minister before the election remains in post until a successor government elects a replacement- it could go on for a while.

I say "elects", it isn't quite like that, of course, but you know what I mean - Cameron will be there until there's somebody else there, or until the Tories dump him - if that happens before a new PM is sorted, then it will get quite messy - that could be worth watching.

I suppose we should be grateful to Cameron and Clegg then, otherwise we'd still have the one-eyed twat.
