It being a Bank Holiday today, I decided to continue my Chainsburger survey.
I decided to have a Big Bird today.
The bird is clearly visible here - and it's definitely big.
It's not readily eatable in a 'burger in a bun' fashion, and requires an element of dismemberment. It's very nice.
You can also see, just behind the menu, the still-warm seat that @Ecker had just vacated. We had a nice chat about his potentially very useful http://www.staffordforum.com/xf/index.php?threads/resource-sharing.15538/#post-253125 thread.
There was, as basil would say a 'predictable outcome'.

It's actually quite useful for furking the odd bit out from between your teeth.
Well,, my teeth, obviously, not your teeth, or people would have looked at us a bit funny....

Last night I had my first Burger from Market Vaults and it lived up to its name, it was an awesome burger. Prior to choosing my burger I had a look at this thread and took note of Gramsaic's various posts about their preferred burger. After a lot of deliberation I chose 'The meat sweats' and the OH chose 'The big bird'. Both burgers were fantastic.
I'm off to the Bear on Saturday. Their burgers will need to be very good to compare with the standard of Market Vaults.

A question about the pulled pork fries, should anyone know. Are they like the chilli fries, as in a bowl of fries with pulled pork on top? As we saw a couple rather enthusiastically eating some battered objects that I couldn't identify from the menu, and wondered if perhaps they'd fried the pulled pork?!?!?

The pulled pork fries are akin to the chilli cheese fries yes. Basket of seasoned fries, topped with beer glazed bbq pulled pork, frizzled onions and spring onions

Ta for that, still not eaten a burger there but had the chilli cheese fries several times!

Sounds more likely that they were devouring some of the chicken wings which have been added to the menu recently...I had the pulled pork a couple of weeks ago and it didn't resemble anything battered. Was bloody lovely, though!

Chicken wings? Could well have been now I think about it, were in a bowl and had a dip with them.

Just a thought here, but I can't be the only person unable to face such a large burger at lunchtime? Not on a school day anyway! I can't help feeling there may be an opening for a girly light burger, same awesome toppings but less cow? In the same way that we can double up for more monies, maybe we could reduce down for less? That way the menu remains uncomplicated, you just have an option to be a fat chubber or a girly wuss on top of the usual burger options.
