The picturs of some of the meals on here.....I couldn't eat them at any time.:aboot:
I have to be honest and say that I could, but I'd also suffer terrible with heartburn for days after. Some food just makes it worse and sadly most shown in the photos would.........

I had an excellent Big Bird Burger earlier - I'm not one for chicken burgers usually but I could happily demolish a bucket of that fried chicken..

Just a thought here, but I can't be the only person unable to face such a large burger at lunchtime? Not on a school day anyway! I can't help feeling there may be an opening for a girly light burger, same awesome toppings but less cow? In the same way that we can double up for more monies, maybe we could reduce down for less? That way the menu remains uncomplicated, you just have an option to be a fat chubber or a girly wuss on top of the usual burger options.

It's hardly fair that you describe smaller burgers as 'girly' - I'm a girl and I've no issue with eating an 8oz vaults burger for lunch.

I thought the sandwiches are there is you want a light lunch?

I ♥ cryptic crosswords
No sign of the chicken wings yesterday so I availed myself of the pulled pork fries, and mighty fine they were too.

If you had posted this in stoopid pictures under the label 'Bird regurgitates food in shape of Stafford Knot' .......

I was hardly being serious, I thought that was obvious? Especially as it was because it was me that wanted the girly burger! In future I shall refer to them as diet burgers.

The ones you get called Zantak or Tescos own brand are only 75 mg if you get the doctors prescription ones they are150mg, i take one morning and night and never get any acid burning, I used to get it terrible, even bending over started it, now no problems. :)

Think it's prescription only. Ranitidine hasn't been available over the counter for that long. I will try anything to see what works. xx

I find it that amusing that a thread discussing our burgers has become a private consultation clinc re acid reflux ;)

In response to the portion size debate, we do also have a lot of positive feedback regarding the generous portion sizes. Many people enjoy the fact that they get a large portion. We don't want to underwhelm customers, and our philosophy is generous serves of great fresh house made favourites. We do encourage customers that if they can't finish their meal then they are welcome to ask us to package the rest to take away for later.
