Being as MrLittleme works in retail he will be working all over the Bank Holiday (as usual), the two sons have gone off on the Stag weekend & all my friends and family are either away or busy...

This leaves me & mimime at home sulking on our own, funds (after the vet fees) won't allow us to go anywhere or do anything exciting, so we will probably watch films & maybe have a trip to the park..

Tell me what you are all up to.... its gotta be more exciting than my Bank holiday!

Do be aware, if you are going shopping, etc., on the Bank Holiday, that many of Stafford's car parks require a payment as for any ordinary day.

I am sitting home, watching Netflix, and packing for at least half a week in hospital whilst making sure the fail safes are in place so the rest of the family doesn't implode whilst me and Spawn2 are away.
My parents have gone on holiday, oh's are in darkest Yorkshire and the odd few friends, family orientate during holidays.

Spawn3 is super whiney as she wants to do sewing but the kit I have is too complicated for her and she wants to do it ''by herself'' Hunting down a similar kit but simpler is proving difficult.

Take comfort that you weren't in the town centre and being approached by manic eyed election canvassers

You did miss out however, in a large amount of dive bombing swallows and sand martins over Boundary Flash

I went looking for a salad spinner this morning as I'm fed up with wet lettuce. It seems you can't buy one for under a fiver ...

There will be two boot sales this weekend, weather permitting, a salad spinner is usually available.

God knows. Had a stye or painful spot on my right eye all week, woke up this morning and the left one is starting to swell just below the bottom lashes. I haven't had any make up on to cause a reaction or owt like that. It's getting so I won't bother taking time off in future, cos I'm always ill.

Awww :hug: If its any consolation I stuck my *chilli covered finger in my eye earlier today....still flipping stinging!

*Believe it or not I'm not actually stupid enough to do that.....after chopping the chilli I washed my hands with the new Carex soap that gets rid of odors (its brill), I figured if the smell was gone then the chilli would be gone too.....NOT SO!

It's always the same when I'm off, I suppose it means I won't be passing owt onto the patients tho. Might kill a few off if they get a cold.
