Wanted Auto Electrician

The cable usually goes at the top were it hinges from the frame to the boot lid / tail gate depending on the model
Same thing happened on my van tail gate i run a 5 core heat resistance flex cable reason for that its a little more flexible than normal flex and just jointed to the van wiring

I have used them in the past without any problems but I believe @Glam may have had problems with them more recently.

I took my little Puma into them to have a new fuel pump, fuel filter and driver door window opener fixed. They managed to fix the window bit fine. The fuel pump died after just 6 weeks. They weren't very happy nor polite when I rang them to complain. When they came to tow the car back to their workshop, it was parked up by the garage on Jerningham St. To cut a massive story short, the boss of Secureacar was heard to say to his employee, by someone very close by, that they must have cocked up the fitting, because the pump shouldn't have broken so soon. A few days later I had cause to ring them again over the doors open light which was stuck on. The lad that answered the phone didn't cover the mouthpiece very well, and when he told his boss who it was and that I had another problem with the car, I heard him give out such a big sigh that I think everyone up Baswich must've heard him. This he denied. But I'm not that daft.
In the end it was fixed, and there has been no problem with the fuel pump since.
I believe that if my car had been the top of the range Aston Martin or similar, they would've fallen over backwards, but, because it's a rusty old S reg Puma they weren't bothered.

I'd say he was mid 20s??? It's the groan that came out of the boss that pissed me off more tbh. You could always try the garage up Jerningham street? I don't know any others that will do electrical. I ended up taking Percy to the garage up on Tollgate for the petrol tank, loads of welding, few other bits n bobs and the MOT. And, if you book the MOT online, they knock a tenner off it. Nice friendly bunch of blokes too.
Explained everything in my terms. That is, as if they're explaining to a toddler that it's wrong to touch sumat it shouldn't.

If all you need is a section of the loom replacing / repair as long as you remove all the trim and i can get at the loom easy i'm happy to look at that for you
