Cameron still a Wanker

Still smarting from the Lords, acting like complete wankers at every opportunity. If there was a ball in the houses of parliament I guarantee Cameron would leave with it each day.

You know all them tories that thought it would be a hoot to vote Corbyn leader of the labour party, do you think they may be regretting it a little now.

Corbyn's popularity ratings are pretty poor (or at least they were a month or two ago). I'm guessing the tory strategy will be to leave Corbyn where he is (they won't want him removed too early), ramping up the pressure on him and McDonnell a bit closer to the next general election, still over 4 years away.

The local elections on May 5th aren't looking good for Labour at least in terms of the raw figures of likely seats lost. When they were previously contested, it was a particularly good night for Labour on the back of a shambles budget by Osborne.

This is what I really don't get, why are the tories continuously screaming that corbyn will eat your babies and sell your nan to the immigrants when he has absolutely no power whatsoever and wont have a chance at it for 4 years? They could just ignore him, he's irrelevant for the next few years, so why the continued focus on anything they can take a swipe at? Why is the media so against him, when he doesn't matter right now? I think the tories are scared, because the alternative is no longer tories in red ties (or Blue Labour?) but an actual change of tactics. Thats why Osborne is intent on shifting as many billions* out of the public purse and into the private as possible before the keys to the sweet shop are taken off him.

* Schools alone are worth 60 odd billion, he's already sold off nearly 40 billion anyway and has still borrowed more than Labour did in their 14 years. Why would he need to id he's gained 40 billion already? And then there is RBS of course, why the hell are we in austerity and cutting benefits when he's making a mint selling stuff we paid for?

I think that, to a large extent, they are [ignoring him]. The attacks don't seem anything like they were back in September and October. But wait until we get closer to the election when things like Corbyn's and McDonnell's ancient links to the IRA start resurfacing. ["You weren't worried about people getting bombed back in the '80s."]

This government is going through a strange period where it thinks it can do pretty much what it likes - and it's finding out the hard way that it can't (check how many times it's been knocked back). Between 2010 and 2015, thanks to the LibDems, it will have been like a dog straining at the leash, having been locked in its kennel for the previous 13 years by Blair/Brown. Then last May it will been let off the lead, and with the perceived disarray of the main opposition, they'll have felt they could pretty much do what they like - the days of Thatcher were back. They're now finding that Labour and SNP opposition together with their own back bench rebels are fairly effective, and if they do manage to get stuff through the House of Commons, there's always the House of Lords. The tories really need to curb their ambitions and accept a policy of evolution rather than revolution.

I hope you're in for the long haul, its not til this new generations kids rebel against them and their online lifestyle that we'll see anything real. We're treated like shit because we let them treat us like shit, basically. Stomping your feet does nothing, but stomping a politician might.

That said 75% of the country will vote the same regardless of policy because thats what they've always done.
