i love reading the kindness and support forum members give to each other.
So I think it's time acts of kindness or considerate and caring members should be recognised.
I would like to make the first nomination. So @Gramaisc for posting lost cat pictures, you are my Forum Member of the Moment.
Seconded !

@Gramaisc does always seem to be there whenever anyone needs help and advice so yes I agree that he is indeed a star.

There are others too that always seem to be there with a "like" or words of encouragement.

I am a bit wary of naming someone in case of leaving others out.

The ones that I have admiration for are the ones that dont hold a grudge.
The ones that give it to you straight in one post, dont pull any punches, rip you ( or your opinion of something) to shreds but then the next day its all forgotten and they respond in a very positive way to something or give you support.

That takes a very grown up personality I think.

And I like that.

An excellent thread idea @peggy

I thought similar, but then @peggy has very cleverly named the thread "member of the moment" - as in here and now. I know I could write an essay thanking forum members for previous things, so it's easier to start fresh anyway and just award people the status as and when the moment arises. :)

Really good idea - i like the insomnia thread - having other people there when i can't sleep is supportive - so i nominate the insomniacs for forumites of the wee small hours moment

He does pop off for a fortnight every now and then so there is a glimmer of hope (albeit very brief) for anyone hoping to be nominated.
There may soon be no respite periods, if this thing of my brother's works, coupled with the laptop that @wmrcomputers tarted up for me...

I hope that means that you will be here all the time, & not elsewhere all the time?

We'll tie you to the chair before we let you leave!

It's an Irish Vodafone mobile router - it means that, if I can get it to work, I will be able to delete your multi-posts remotely.
