I am on 150 mb and i dont use the superhub as a rounter i got a Asus RT-AC87U router mainly because i have a Sky box upstairs and it relies on WIFI it was dropping off the network and failing to record programs occasionaly, according to my router i have 21 clients on my WIFI network and everything works great.

Can you confirm your upstream is still 12Mb?

Im getting 209meg down and just over 12meg up.
Suits my household as ive a daughter who games online and the other daughter is a youtube freak .
...just wondering @tek-monkey , does the extra 5 or 6 meg upload make that much of a difference ?
I can only imagine that its needed if theres a lot of ouside conections to your server requiring data and leaving enough for yourself ?

I can't be the only person that always reads the title of this thread as Virgin Speed Dating.

I have a possibility of 28 inbound connections at any point, each requiring 1.2Mbps minimum. 17 is pretty much scraping it, I have no need for anything over 100 up as most of the time my downloads are idle but I use my upstream a lot.

well after this post I checked it out and applied for the 20 mb
upgrade from my usual 50, just checked tonight and I'm on
70mb, no problems at all, I still think it's too much to pay though,
I wish i could get BT infinity on Coton fields.

I just joined Virgin for 50mb should this now be 70 mb in Stafford?

They upgraded my system on Tuesday left it a couple of days to check the speeds it's a constant 73 down and 5 up well pleased.
The new Modem has 2 wifi channels that's made a big difference for me, the internet was dropping out on my desk top every time Mrs BP fired up the iPad but no problems now.
