I think normally you get the choice of 3 hymns/songs. At least the last 3 funerals I've been to have had a beginning song, middle then leaving tune.

And 'The Sunlight on the Garden' by Louis MacNeice, read by someone who knows how to read properly (a big ask i know), somewhere down the line.

The latter will depend upon whether i bury my mother or she buries me - if the former then i will read it, properly, for her - if it's already been said, then it'll have to be cummings for my goings.
