My copy of The Antique Story Book by Bernard Jack arrived on Saturday and have read it. A very quaint and interesting read. Does anyone else want to read it before I take to the Katharine House shop? I am happy to post, free of charge.

There are currently three-way lights at the Milwich turn in Sandon, on the A51 - a bit of a delay in all directions.

I'm sure we've all noticed the War Memorial in Sandon, just by the Dog and Doublet, but there is also another small memorial on the left as you leave the village towards Stone - here. I finally got around to looking more closely at it a few days ago.

Signs up for three-way lights at the Milwich road junction, but no lights. Maybe they haven't arrived yet, or maybe they've been and gone..

Well, it did turn out to be worth the journey. The car-parking was a little chaotic, but one tends to expect that these days.

Interesting mix of stuff at the little boot sale - I got a useful electronic depth gauge for a couple of quid.

The Fete itself occupied the outfield of the cricket pitch, this is a general view of about half of it.

The boot sale area gave one access to get a picture of the old station, with his lordship's carriage dock.

Traction engine rides were available.
