Piece on gagging orders was in last week's printed paper, small piece but on inside papers. Nowt online though.

in fairness to them they don't put anything online until a day or two after print. Haven't seen todays print so can't comment if it's in or not this weeks.

not sure why they would avoid any stories, they have never had issue printing stories about council before that doesn't put them in a great light.

Maybe it's not the council they are protecting....

Might be a stupid question, but are all these facilities solely for rugby, and are the windswept pitches for public use? The £400m we're giving them seems ridiculous if this place is only for the use of blokes with crinkly ears and funny-shaped balls. Why can't Sport England donate our money to improve sport for all, not just a minority?

Quite so.

As things stand the 'ayes' have it - 3:1.

There is an underhandedness to this process as well - the 'ayes' had a headstart, let's overtake the feckers!

Vroom vroom!

I'm not suggesting you have any friends who could hack this portal at all

Let's be absolutely clear on this

P.S.

Planning Portal is here

I know that direct links don't always work, so if ^that doesn't, then go here > click on I agree, take me to the Planning Public Access

> copy this - 16/23583/FUL - > paste it into the 'Enter a keyword, reference number, postcode or single line of an address.' > click Search > then click on 'Comments (144 (or however many there now are))' > which will take you to the Make a Comment bit. Fill in the bits with an * after them then click on 'Object'

NB You can just click on the 'Object' bit after 'Stance: *' - which as the asterisk implies is a required field - if you want to leave a comment you can, if not then your objection is registered, literally, regardless.

Not only do i not have any 'friends who could hack this portal at all', but also i do not have any 'friends' at all.

I have an Attorney, one close associate, and sparse familial ties. I find that this covers my needs.
