@Floss Just like parking on any pavement. Just like cyclists riding on the pavement. Unfortunately people only think of themselves nowadays and don't consider anyone else or their surroundings.

It is a combination of the two tbh

As a child we didn't have car and travelled everywhere by train or bus and I did quite enjoy it. These days I don't use public transport unless I have to which is a personal choice.

If Stafford had outer ring roads like so many other towns just imagine how much safer it would be for Cyclists riding to and from town. All estates in Stafford being accessed form these outer roads rather than clogging up the local roads.
Staffords roads will become more clogged as there are so many houses being built, owners will have to use cars to get to work. Public transport not being an option unless you work in the town/city you travel to.
More housing requires more transport infrastructure and a transport strategy which unfortunately Stafford doesn't seem to have.

Probably the best example of poor planning and wasted money in Stafford. To think that the Council narrowed the road making it even more dangerous than it previously was for all road users.

The road is to access Stafford Town FC, the council want to build the road as part of the application for an all weather pitch at STFC.
What the Alstom (GE) development needs is a road at the other end linking the development to the Beaconside extension at St Thomas Lane.

In the 'Plan for Stafford Town' Traffic will be restricted along Chell Rd once the Western Access Road is completed.

Different ages have different size pitches. You can't expect kids of 9 and 10 to play on adult size pitches.

Have you missed the threads where I have been chatting to @Katniss quite amiably about wine or talking about the upcoming wedding?
If I didn't like her then I wouldn't be taking time out to be friendly on other threads. Would I?
