I heard that rumour, but at the time we were expecting the permission to go through a little earlier! Really hope it is though, be great to buy cheese then pair it with ale of your choice (or cider).

Assumed this thread was purely for hypothetical ideas. From the last page and from what my wife is telling me, a pub is going in there, is this correct?

Two weeks not a problem, id' say, a micro pub is a very raw public house, it's not like your new builds all shiney ready for the kids ball pool.

Quick clean down, chairs and tables, small bar in the corner.

It's gonna be a beauty.

I'm going to start queuing from tomorrow morning.

After I've been the Floodgate, so perhaps queue from tomorrow afternoon.

Not much activity if it is opening in 2 weeks, but I guess until pipes etc. are in there isn't much to do? Still wondering where the bar will go.
