On the BBC website it says Cannock Chase Council has issued licences for 3 lions and 2 tigers.

Dunno about the Tigers but that could be Stafford Lions, Rugeley Lions and Cannock Lions.

Apparently we are right up there with camels too? This from the website referred to by United57.
"Camels (bottom left) - Several councils have issued licences for camels, but Scarborough and Stafford have the highest number at six each."

I think that the licence may relate to an application by a Mr Thomas Chipperfield of Bogs Cottage, Patmore Hall, Albury, Ware, SG11 2JU, but details don't seem to be available.
