But isn't that the whole point of the referendum? Do we want to remain part of the club or do we want to plough our own course?

Yes - allegedly, of course - although it is TTIP -Tipp is generally short for Tipperary, which is much less of a threat, except on a hurling field.

Cheap? We have the second highest minimum wage in the EU, our labour is far from cheap. I suspect it's only our very loose taxation policies that keep multinational businesses here!

With our ageing population we need young people coming to the UK to do some work and pay taxes. Ideally they will leave again before they get old and need to claim off the NHS or pensions and most of them do just that.

We also have some of the highest prices in the EU.
