To get back to doom, the group of disruptive imbibers loitering on the path to the dilapidated Riverside council office at 10am hardly conveys a positive message for the town.

Men's sections almost always are - in the charity shops, they're mostly at the far end and you have to struggle past all the obstructions to get there, if you can be bothered.I'm guessing that pop80_uk is female as the men's section appears to be a complete afterthought tucked away taking up less than a third of the upstairs. The children's and home section swamp it. Disappointed.
That's not a nice way to talk about our ultra-hardworking council staff. To get back to doom, the group of disruptive imbibers loitering on the path to the dilapidated Riverside council office at 10am hardly conveys a positive message for the town.
I haven't looked but has a designated smoking shelter been provided? To get back to doom, the group of disruptive imbibers loitering on the path to the dilapidated Riverside council office at 10am hardly conveys a positive message for the town.
They obviously know their market and will stock accordingly, but I don't think I've seen such an excessive imbalance. Men, in general, do tend to wear something until there are more holes than material left, but I was hoping for a little more choice. The one in Manchester is great for men's, and although still not comparable to its female counterpart in terms of floor space, there is still a good selection. The Birmingham one is crap, as is the one in Stoke and Wolverhampton.Men's sections almost always are - in the charity shops, they're mostly at the far end and you have to struggle past all the obstructions to get there, if you can be bothered.

There is one thing the new M&S doesn't look and that is 'budget' whatever Primark may look like.Went into the new Primark this evening, I have to admit to being impressed both the size and stock and in particular the fit and finish which is really good. They have made a really good job of the layout and it looks really nice.
I would actually say it felt and looked more premium than the Marks store and if you took away the signage you would think that marks was the budget store from the shop fittings
Good addition for Stafford
I'm in the Primark at the moment and it looks as budget as every other Primark I've been in....I would actually say it felt and looked more premium than the Marks store and if you took away the signage you would think that marks was the budget store from the shop fittings
Like hereSo the new shopping centre is a huge success and crowds are flocking to the area. Can we assume that the units under Starffod Place will be in huge demand, and that the council will now have to spend a few more £millions relocating the library to somewhere with space to waste on books?
Town was VERY busy up until 4ish yesterday, even the area north of Market Square, though not as busy, was busier than I've seen it for years. The best bit was that the majority of people seemed to be carrying bags of purchases (and not just from Primark). So the new shopping centre is a huge success and crowds are flocking to the area.
