My sister came from London this week, she tries to use the shops in Stafford to bring her trade up here to try and keep our shops open, and she was distinctly underwhelmed with the new shopping centre, descrived it as 'soulless' and was baffled as to why the few shops that were built couldnt have been integrated into the existing empty town centre we already have. Can't say i disagree, but common sense is not a commodity present in our local council is it!!
