You don't need to go up any stairs if you access the centre from the Primark end, and you can also then simply walk across the bridge to F&B.

But we were walking down form The Green, so would have had to walk all the way round to the Primark entrance, quite some detour given the bridge was accessible by stairs!

All we needed was a ramp, not a tour round the carpark via the lift? But yes, I never saw the lift so it must be camoflaged or something :)

you don't need stairs you take the entrance to the building 10 yards left of the Nando's entrance, catch lift to the first floor....... come out directly outside F&B, or to access main shopping area, seriously it cannot be anymore simple even to the moaners on here. You walk past this whole area to get the stairs for which you are complaining about.

in fact it is exactly the same as the potteries centre and every where else for that matter....sigh, I give up just go out and open your eyes lol

Spending less time moaning and more time actually having your eyes open and looking might help as well. Aimed at all the moaners, not anyone in particular...
The problem with this forum is that anyone, such as myself, who dares to deviate from the council 'party line' of total positivity at all timesabout Stafford and point out some of the town's many failings is pilloried as a 'moaner'.

One of the things that having your eyes open without the use of rose tinted glasses does is allow you to see that Stafford is far from the utopia that some people on here want to believe. You should try it sometime.

no what you do like a number of other is criticise and whine about positivity and try and bend and twist things to make them bad, just like a number of others.

Nobody on here minds debate as not everything is perfect and it is differing opinion that makes forums good.

But it is really something when some feel the need to bad mouth positive things, make things up, bull s**t and complain about things just to wind up.

anything positive on here is normally taken apart as slated as the worst thing ever in history or a council run conspiracy theory.

take the last couple of pages on this thread 'hopes dad' you made negative comment about access and took glee in doing so, as you clearly do not know facts about access to the new development you come across spiteful. The less said about kyotos comments and back tracking the better

Who made you judge and jury about what is and what isn't suitable for the forum. Poeple don't agree with you, and have as much right as you to express their opinion, get over it.

You think you have the right to bitch and complain when you clearly did not know about access to the new development and took glee in doing so.

You were put right and you don't like it as you are still trying to justify your truly absurd comments.

that is my opinion.

I think you'll find that so many people are so negative on here that a few of us try and be positive. If you hate the place so much I'm sure there's other places you'd like to live.
There are many places I would like to live, Stafford is the last place on earth I would choose. Sadly I am stuck in the barren time warp that is stafford because I have to work and I am too old and too disabled to get another job in a decent town. The second I can retire I will be out of here as fast as my wheels can take me.

Stafford isn't a barren timewarp! Even before all the things in the last couple of years that have been done to improve it, it was still a lovely place to live. Before you say it, no I'm not going around with my rose tinted specs on and refusing to believe anything negative about Stafford. I'm well aware of any failings, I just choose not to bleat about them and to rejoice in the positive aspects.
Go out, take a look around at the lovely buildings, the beautiful park, the new shopping centre, the lovely countryside right on our doorstep, easy access to the motorway and all the new things still on the horizon. I think you will find that any negatives Stafford has are things that are common to every single town in the country.

The truth the whole truth

And little old Stafford which has a river but seems to have missed the boat, years behind other towns and cities , I used to like it's quaintless , the different from other towns , empty shops which cannot be filled yet we build more , yet another supermarket which was coming and had the balls to pull out , fast food outlets and more fast food outlets , yet they rave on about the billion pound town
We don't have the facilities for more leisure , transport network , health , sporting facilities , education are all stretched to capacity , yet they want to cram in more, more supermarkets is not the answer

No, I know I have the right to bitch and complain. I wasn't 'put right', some people pointed out that there was a lift, although I saw no evidence of any signs indicating that when I reached the bottom of the stairs, or as I walked past it. Nothing I have said is absurd. and plenty of people agree with me. Whether you do matters not one jot to me, I won't be brow beaten by some no mark on the internet in to towing the County Council line. I'm pleased Stafford has some new shops, but the new centre, it's location, and it's design are shit. My opinion. Get over it!
