Sadly missed? Blasts from the past - A reminder of Stafford's past

I worked with him for a while in the mid to late eighties. Lost touch after that.
I heard about his passing a couple of days ago. I hadn't seen him around for many years. He's been living/working in Stoke for several years apparently. Apart from all his other ventures I'm sure I remember something about him trying to pay some sort of fine by writing a "cheque" on a bikini clad young lady's body.
I found this thread so interesting I've been reading it backwards & just came across this from April 2014. I didn't think I'd dreamt it
"Historical piece in the current Newsletter about the time that Julian Caruso attempted to pay a fine with a cheque written on a belly dancer"

Julian was most recently working as a clairvoyant and hypnotist with a shop in Burslem. The cheque he wrote on the belly dancer was for a parking fine.

Sandrina, the belly dancer in question - lived in Seighford.

And, of course, Seighford Hall was a major centre for nightlife - it's calmed down a bit lately, I hear.

I can't find any pictures of the Blazes Disco days...

Didn't Screaming Lord Sutch once set up there for his election bid on Stafford with the title 'Go To Blazes Party.'

Thought he was worthy of more than that to be honest. Most of that was written by his son. Barely any mention of his clubbing days in Stafford. Surprised to see he was only 59 when he died, he's younger than me, hadn't realised how young he must have been when he was a leading light in Stafford's night life
I very surprised he was that young. He was friend of friends back in the seventies, I always assumed he was the same age as most of the crowd who were various ages but I was one of the younger ones. I would have put him in his mid to late sixties by now. He was big mates with an old friend who passed away last year aged 63. I thought they were the same age(ish)

Not really a blast from the past, but someone I haven't seen for months. The lady who used to push the shopping trolley everywhere. Unless I've missed sumat, and someone has already posted that she has passed on, or is poorly. Does anyone know what's happened to her?

The lady that bowed her head, no mockery intended there, I also haven't seen her for a long time.
