Most welcome mate. Never knew they had wifi there now, although at £1.50 a day i'd possibly prefer to use a dongle as i'm sure they'll only have a restricted area it serves and if it was getting alot of use i'm sure it could run pretty slow too!

I couldn't find the other WMR Appreciation Society thread....

Big thanks to WMR - he sorted out a machine for my grandfather for a great price, he did all the leg work and got it all set up so I could just plug it in and copy over his files.

I was so impressed with the machine that I enquired about another for myself as a media centre - a week later I get a message "it's ready". Only manged to plug it in and try it out this evening and it's spot on.

So - another big thanks from me and my grandfather to WMR :D

(and sorry it took me so long to pick up the second one!)

wmr ... thanks so much for fixing my daughter's laptop same day for such a reasonable price and offering such a friendly, efficient service. When I think of the times we've been ripped off by pc world and other so-called experts it galls me. From now on, you are our man!

Top marks (as always) to @wmrcomputers . My old black box is humming again.

I've been putting this off for ages and he hardly gave me time to clear all the crap from behind where it had been before I had to go and get it back again.

PANIC!

Computer down this morning.

Internet* gives two possible prognoses for the beep code - fairly trivial or almost fatal.

Dismembered everything and took it up to @wmrcomputers .

The Maestro laid his hands upon the afflicted - and, lo, life returned.

This Epistle is promulgated to the faithful via the resurrected body.

Praise the Lord!

My laptop 'puter has begun to misbehave. For no reason that I can find it reboots itself when using web pages. It does not appear to happen when using apps and programmes.
Can you suggest anything I can do to establish the cause and possible remedy before I call upon wrmcomputers for attention?

The first thing to try would be resetting your browser. Depending on the browser causing the problems, google for instructions. You will lose history and saved passwords in the process though.
