Car boot sales in Stafford.

These days I've started noticing nearly everyone with a clothing rail has a couple of old bras hung on the end haha

The above sentence reminded me of something that happened nearly two decades ago.

I was shopping in Stafford with my very young son who was in a pushchair at the time.

Wheeling the aforementioned pushchair through town, I noticed that people were giving us/him odd looks which was unusual I thought.

It was quite some time before I looked down and noticed that he had surrounded himself with an array of ladies undergarments that he had helped himself to from Marks and Spencer.

He'd even managed to hook some onto the pushchair itself, which when you think about it, was quite dexterous for someone so young

I took them all back of course....well they weren't my size or style. :D

Big again today, but still nothing for me - they appeared to have even more difficulties than usual in aligning the, er, lines.

We'll see what tomorrow brings - Mondays are often better, though smaller.

The most noticeable thing today was the number of people who felt it necessary to carry their dogs.

I struggle with the haphazard nature of it when they use that bit of the common.

Today was a DVD day, loads of good ones we got!

There was a tattoo gun, if you fancy having a go yourself.

My nephew did this when he was younger and (more of) a nutcase. Tattooed his thigh, but didn't account for the skin stretch when his knee was bent. It all ended up looking a bit squished.

Eleven o'clock before I realised it was Sunday, so a bit of a late start. Still nothing for me, though, but a lot larger today than earlier ones have been.

'Tis madness - supposed to be in only from Stone Road and out onto Common Road - but a lot of people are 'special'.

I never go anywhere near it, if I can avoid it - probably only been in there once in a motor vehicle in the last five years - when I bought a load of greenhouse glass squares.

There was another this morning, though it was in the modern box + a fair range of other Airfix stuff around the place.

There was nothing again for me. One chap had a vast selection of lady's wetsuits. There was also a pair of Indian clubs.

Although there were a few people about who looked fairly imminent, nobody seemed to be in a rush to purchase the birthing chair.

Another dry run for me, though it was definitely more interesting stuff. I did get fairly interested in a clock that I ultimately realised that I didn't really want.

Highlight of the day was some Chinese lads who had bought a repro 'antique' bowl. I got the impression that the calligraphy on it had been done by somebody who knew it was for export and had written something that you might not expect to see in a genteel drawing room.

There were some lads doing cooked-in-front-of-you shish kebabs - and they looked like they knew what they were doing.

There was a lacrosse stick, if you were selected to play this afternoon.
