Keep seeing headlines saying may and Corbyn will be interviewed by paxman, but is it true they will be kept separate? Will they be scripted? Can they veto questions?

It's on now. I think the answers are Yes, i believe not and I believe not.

Think Question Time with Paxman bowling a few bouncers of his own.

Corbyn's first and doing well, but seems to be claiming some impact in the Irish peace process.

I think they've finished Corbyn's turn. He's come over well, though doubts are being cast on Paxman's effectiveness (esp compared to Andrew Neil).

Sounds like May's up shortly.

Meanwhile in Coronation Street ....

I'm now watching it on Sky, but C4 as well I believe.

ETA I don't think we're finding out anything we didn't already know or suspect.

I only caught the last 15 minutes and I don't recall it. (I'm currently having 3 conversations on FB - multitasking or what???)

But 5 weeks into the campaign, I tend to screen stuff like that out.

She did a few "No deal is better than a bad deal"s at the end.

I would say the TV debate was a score draw, I found myself more annoyed at Paxo's questioning than either of May/Corbyn's responses. I think Faisal Islam would have done a better job. There was nothing I recall, said by either side, that I would expect to significantly affect the polls.

The feeling is (I think) that Corbyn did better than May (which you'd expect given the way they've performed during the campaign) and that May did better than was expected.

I saw the thing described as being like a Formula 1 race. Those that are interested in it will find it interesting .... but most people will just watch it for the crashes. And there weren't any.

I think Corbyn did look less stressed and connected with the studio audience more. The after debate assessment by party spokespersons was more entertaining. :blah:

There is a photo doing the rounds on Facebook "showing Jeremy Corbyn at the side of Gerry Adams" as a salute is fired at an IRA funeral. The fact that the person in question is actually Owen Carron doesn't even seem to matter, as he is obviously beardy enough to be a plausible substitute. People still get agitated about it, even when it's pointed out that he's not there.
