I lost a couple of stone last year by logging all my food on MyFitnessPal, and having a net 1,200 intake a day. Trying to get myself into it again as am creeping back up.

Being pre diabetic I am on a low/no sugar diet, it aint half hard
to avoid sugar though, it seems to be in every thing!
And I am dieting to lose a bit of weight 12 stone 11 now down to
12.9 in 6 days so not doing bad

Agree, simply not adding sugar is good and steering clear of the obvs food stuffs that have spoonfuls of sugar in them, is the easy part. Staying away from the sneaky sugars is difficult.
Same goes for vegan, they try and stick animal by-products in EVERYTHING, just takes a lot of label reading, but if you want to make the change you do.

I shall never be beach body ready, unless beached whale is in this year? I would love to lose the 7 extra stone my poor body drags around, but, at the moment I am not in the right mind state to even think of changing my lifestyle/ diet.
