so... it's been open around three weeks. So many people on here complain that we have no decent shops. 69 people have viewed the thread yet only one person says they have been!!

I went the day it opened and was a bit disappointed. It did just look like the home section of TKMaxx, which it is but I'd hoped for more normal/useful stuff rather than one-off stand out pieces. I may venture in again if I'm present shopping, but it won't be somewhere I'll want to look in every time I'm at the retail park.

Yes I've been in
Yes it's it same as the homewards section of TKMaxx
No that doesn't bother me
Yes it's a fecking sight better than having an empty unit

I've not been 'cos it's not my type of shop. Doesn't mean I'm not glad it's there though.

Mrs p has been and liked it. She bought a couple of items to give as a wedding present which seem nice.

Though, personally, I'd prefer a couple of hundred quid of Halfords or Screwfix vouchers if it was a wedding present for me...

Assume it's OK then as SWMBO wanted to go back. Is there much of a food section?
We have been visiting various HomeSense branches for years so it's not the first one we've been in.

Not sure if there is a proper food section but they do sell spices and other stuff like that (I think) but don't rely on me as I try not to take too much notice of stuff. If I do, it means I have to buy it.

Same here, the food sections are bigger in some than others. It's some of the food oddities that I like that you don't see in mainstream food stores. Always worth a browse.
