Phase 2 would be nice at Mill Green, but they haven't started phase 1 yet.

6 years and counting so far, taking forever like Stafford new cinema

Went past the little dessert shop yesterday and it looks really nice inside, they look ready to open. Also walked past the new cinema sight and there was action happening on my way to Primark and it was busy on there, I would be shocked if it closed.

Visited Oatcakes & Milkshakes for lunch today after 1pm....very busy and spoke to a staff member who told us to order at the counter then they will sort tables out.

Stood in the queue to find people just walking in behind us and taking the spare tables !! Order and got a table but it took around 30 minutes for the food to come out (its only Oatcakes !!)

Food was good but by only having one chap doing the savoury food and 2-3 people doing the milkshakes and freak-shakes it took the shine off the visit...Will probably go back as a sunday brunch trip....

Last time we were there we didn't spot the sign telling us to order and pay before we'd sat down. I'm glad it's remained busy though.

We were also in town today, had lunch at the soup kitchen - generally town seemed busy, which is always good.

I went into the guild hall today for some cards from the card factory and a nosy at the Clarks sale and noticed a Warren James is in there. How long has that been in there?

Enjoying a drop of red.
Heard today primark are pulling out of Stafford due to extortionate rates of Stafford council (will they ever learn)....

Staffords shocking effort at a modern shopping centre is going to be left in tatters and their failure to move with the times will soon see the new riverside centre littered with empty units just like the town centre.....watch this space
Got any more news on this wonderful scoop @cotty1974 or was it in fact ill-informed, scaremongering bullshit?
