Went to my aunties this weekend - she owns some scales so took the opportunity to weigh myself!

I've lost a stone and a half!

Not sure where from? My organs must have had squishy cushioning!
Theres nothing of you to loose!

After my excellent start of -7lb in the first 3 weeks of gym, I only managed another 1lb in the next 2 weeks (the carer managed 7lb again)

So im sulking. Chicken & chips for tea, & Ive bought myself a Caramel Pannacotta for pud (stop selling 2 for a pound Sainsburys)!

Dito! There's nothing of you to loose!

You work so hard you deserve a treat night!

All I have done is just eat a disgusting amount of veggies and moved a bit more!

I don't really have a sweet tooth so not that fussed about chocolate / sweets - I think that's made it easier!

Have lost 8 pounds in the last 4 weeks by restricting my alcohol consumption to under 4 pints a week and increasing exercise. Currently rowing 40km a week and cycling 40 miles a week.
Cardio and fitness improving a lot and getting a lot of motivation from the concept2 online indoor rowing ranks. After only 4 weeks and 170km practice I'm enjoying seeing that I'm quicker at 5km and 10km that former members of the Royal Marines and US marines.

Exercise makes me feel better and more mentally alert.

1hr rowing this morning 14.3km covered and just over 900 calories burnt, meaning I can have 4 guilt free pints tonight when friends come over.

I once canoed from Lechlade to Goring, along the Thames. The canoes had "Royal Air Force Transport Command" emblazoned along the sides.

The canoes were two-man, and even then they were on the large side, usually being referred to as "barges" - I remember some bloke in a pub on route being convinced that we were delivering a set of floats for a seaplane conversion kit.

I bet it was a very enjoyable trip and all the more so if you stopped at a few pubs along the way.

Have you ever done any dragon boat racing ? It's a great activity and a good team exercise. I recommend everyone should give it a go since it soon comes across that to succeed you have to work as a team. A boat full of powerful blokes who are rowing with lots of power but out of sequence with each other will loose to a boat of slightly build females working as a team. It's amusing to watch the expressions in such circumstances but even better when the crew realise the importance of working as a team.

Are you the mystery drummer of Stafford ?

Perhaps the sequence of the drumming is to encourage a dragon boat crew to work together as a team ?

I see............

No. Not said drummer. But did set eyes once .

Decided not to approach without Annette
