Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

I've always thought a cafe of some kind on Weston rd would be useful - it used to be infuriating that I could walk from my house on St. Leonards to the Beaconside campus and not pass anywhere to grab a coffee

Would be interesting to see how much footfall it would get, we do already have a fair few cafes in much more accessible locations if you don't already live nearby...

The one round by the Beacon Centre on the science park does a cracking trade.

A shop selling doors is opening in the parade of shops opposite tk max.

Never knew.
What's it called?

EDIT: i've just looked it up (i'm clever like that); Tasty Pantry
I think the Tasty Pantry might be somewhere different. I say might .... when I worked on the Technology Park ten years ago, there was something around where the Tasty Pantry is, and another in the Beacon Centre (opposite where I worked). At the time, neither were anything to write home about. Gilbert Grape's comment about them doing a cracking trade may be more about the captive audience rather than the quality of the food on offer. But, as I say, it was 10 years ago.

The wife used to work in the tech park - Tasty Pantry was popular but crazy expensive. McGregors have a van that goes round and that was apparently very popular and far more affordable.

I still like my idea of grabbing one of the ground floor units, filling it with various vending machines (sandwiches, hot drinks, even a pizza vending machine because they do exist) and you'd make a killing simply by undercutting everyone else and being pretty much instant with little queuing.

Great idea, but you've got to be a massive corporate conglomerate, chuck shed loads of £'s(!) at it and put the idea in motion, wouldn't surprise me if Amazon have already thought of this, have it on lock-down and about to got global!

Not retail related but I'm really impressed with the upper floor conversion of the malt building. I'm in favour of converting vacant upper floors to a residential use.

Plus I had no idea that this building had undercroft parking.
