So, just to clarify because I'm a little confused.

We are talking about Mark Jackson from Geobuild. Who is one and the same as Mark Jackson from Geo Building services.

Have I got the correct Mark Jackson and Geobuild?

And to further clarify, we are saying that Mark Jackson of Geobuild, who is also Mark Jackson of Geo Building Services is not be be trusted, a fraudster and a rogue trader?

Are these the same as Geobuild Ltd, Geobuild Services Ltd and Geo Build Ltd? Or Geobuildingservices?

Didn't notice when I put some used newspaper down for the dogs wet and muddy paws but just noticed this advert from August last year.

Sounds like a useful chappie despite a few complications and hiccups on each project. Strange how similar the grammar is on both recommendations is though????

Anyway the dogs seemed to enjoy wiping their muddy paws on the advert once I told them of Carole's experiences with this firm.

That’s a lot of uses of the word “agreed”

Also, you must keep a healthy stack of newspaper if you’re just putting down one from August 2016...

Agreed there are a lot of agreed.

I don't keep a massive stack of old papers, just a few that I occasionally use when the dogs are likely to get wet and muddy. I usually recycle the freebees that are delivered.

It appears Mark Jackson of Geo Build has terminated his role of director this week

Yes but they have simply dissolved one company and started up another.

Anyone with a contract or issue with Geo BUILD will find it extremely difficult to recoup money now from a company that doesn't exist anymore.
It's outrageous that he keeps getting away with doing this.

Fortunately what he’s done would easily “pierce the corporate veil” as it’s put.

I would advise people go to the Express and Star to spread the word. Just make sure they get a good upset photo of you with your arms crossed or pointing at the work so that you make it to the Angry People In Local Newspapers Facebook page

@Carole, you can object to them being struck off. https://www.gov.uk/object-to-a-limited-company-being-struck-off. I'm guessing if you were successful, you could then at least lodge a CCJ against them to try and reclaim monies that you're owed for paid work not undertaken.

The problem then would be enforcing the judgment as I would guess all assets will have been moved to the new company.

There is an interesting article below about a builder who recently got jailed for four months for work that he did on (unbelievably, a friends house) leaving them with an unsafe house and a massive bill to put things right.

It just goes to show that quite a few of these dodgy builders eventually get their come uppance.

Got me thinking back a few years to one of those cowboy builder type TV programmes , where Stafford was featured and one of the good builder firms from Brocton came to the rescue to put things right after another local builder had messed up big time and left them in the lurch . Wondering who the original cowboy builder was in that case, but can't find it now....:hmm:

Don't quote me on this but I possibly think it was a chap called Dai Taylor who had a company called Stafford Plastering & Building, he now lives in Spain

There are no Stafford episodes on there. I'm guessing it might be this one programme.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00mrbdw - episode two appears to be a kitchen bodge job in Stafford. The reason you may not find a link to watch this is show is because the original presenter, Clive Holland, was sacked by the BBC for 'inappropriate behaviour', so they just may be reluctant to re-show any episodes with him in.

It will catch up with him! Sounds like it already is, personally don't know how he can sleep at night, ripping off so many families

It might be worth trying to get a CCJ against Mark Jackson personally rather than against any of his everchanging companies, it can be done.
