Quite worrying really if he is so selective, that says to me he has some control over the situation, I found him quite scary when I first came across him, it was only for this forum I gained some understanding of he who he was and had to warn my other half to just ignore him when we came across him at the traffic lights on the stone road, I can see how he would get s few slaps if people weren't aware of him.

He's not as random as he likes to appear, I'm convinced he has some level of control just from watching who he hurls abuse at. If you are in a car or on your own walking and not too big he's all mouth, but I never see him yell at people likely to kick him off his bike and into a passing cars path.

I shall be ready for him next time, he can be quite frightening when you are on your own, I know that from experience.

If anyone frightens you the police should be called*, if you feel in danger try to visit them in person** or call 999 if that can't be done***

* 30 minute wait for non-emergencies, charged 15p per call, money goes to outsourcing company
** Only open 9-5 mon-fri, 9-2 saturday, please don't be a victim outside these hours
*** Only way to realistically record a crime nowadays, even though they don't have the manpower to investigate most of them

I got attacked by a man with a Machete around 2 years ago, luckily the lad was all trousers and no balls but i rang the police and told them and they came out that night but would not take a statement because i had been and had a drink (darts night)it was three days later they came back, even though this person was riding around on his bike assaulting people with a massive machete, the lad was around 20, this was a few years ago and i haven't heard a single thing from the police since.

I find it unbelievable that this thread started 1st March 2015 is still receiving posts about the antics of this man on public roads, I presume ONLY when someone is seriously injured or killed will something be done?

That's because folk just bleat about it on here and facebook instead of reporting him to the police, if enough folk complained then things might be done, the trouble is nobody wants to "get involved" and just assumes that someone else will sort it out.

It might also be because he's not really a danger to anyone except himself.

In fact, if i'm not entirely mistaken his own death was announced - with some implicatory glee - some moments ago. Without foundation.

Given the nature of the man's MO, any injury/fatality is only likely to be one way.

Possibly going the wrong way down a street that should've been.

One would assume he would meet such a fate with scatalogical effervescence.

No, likely not him, never seen him Queensville, and dosen't particularly need a hair cut,
Not seen the other one for a bit, thank heavens, the one often at Queensville, yelling and swearing

I was beginning to think this might be a case of local folklore as I had never spotted the angry cyclist but I can confirm he does indeed exist. I had the pleasure of being given the finger and being shouted at to p*!~ off from the opposite side of the dual carriageway on the Stone Road today.

I had to return to town almost immediately as I had forgotten something from Halfords and as I was parking said angry chap rode straight into Halfords and up to the bike counter. Luckily there wasn't anyone walking around the store as he rode in.

Anyway two new cycle shoe pedals later (even though he didn't have any cycling shoes on) he departed, crossing over the green traffic lights in front of cars turning left and giving them a jovial finger and they were forced to brake as he crossed.

Anyone got a clearer photo?
It would be a brave person that tried to get a clear photo on a phone etc of him. You'd need a very long lens or a fast getaway driver. The bloke with the hoodie looks a bit puzzled. He's probably wondering why he's been called a dickhead.
P. S. Has the cyclist changed his bike? I haven't seen him for a while but I'm sure he had a red one (maybe blue?)

I'm inclined to think he has a new bike as well - it looks a bit small for him from here - but even with such a restricted view it sure looks like him.

Coupled with the subsidiary indications -

I had the pleasure of being given the finger and being shouted at to p*!~ off from the opposite side of the dual carriageway on the Stone Road today etc...

- i'd say that's a definite positive sighting.

He was at it again this morning in Greyfriars, apparently deliberately riding in front of cars then shouting at them. Can't agree he's only a danger to himself. Could easily cause an accident involving lots of vehics.

In the car park at Queens at lunchtime today, but on a black bike. Looked rather subdued.
