Imotion has also mentioned the food court in an email to members suggesting it will be open by the summer

looking at those artists impressions it's not going to be a food court but a row of separate units

I thought the escalators had gone (i've not been in the gym to look at the upstairs) or are they just concealed at the moment.

They have started on the ceiling lowering, to be honest didn't notice if the escalator had gone or not....

Went in The Guildhall last week. It's like walking through a scene from Dawn of the Dead.

If we're super duper lucky, we'll get a Pound Bakery an all.

I'm not sure why having a food court in the Guildhall will attract people when there are already so many fine places to eat in town.

Plus food courts tend to be made up of crap food places and we gave no shortage of them either.

Play your cards right and their maybe a Vegan place there to for you as well.......................
Not if they want to attract customers as their priority I wouldn't imagine.

That being said, Stafford would certainly benefit from having a dedicated quality vegan eating place, if such were commercially viable.

I'd welcome more place to grab something quick (not necessarily healthy) - There's only so many steak bakes a girl can eat (and there's 3 Gregg's in town now so there's not much actual choice) and sometimes the queue in McDonalds is huge. I like hot food if I'm out and about - so something that shakes this up would be great. I miss the days when Stafford had a Cornish Pasty shop. Easy access to Jacket Potatoes like a Spud u Like would be good too, and if there was a mexican street food place that would be amazing

I was referring to fine and crap establishments, not the type of food they sell.

And questioning both the need and the customer drawing power to the GH of any additions there.
