My associates arrived when they only had one left - that last one was fitted, a code to get more + how to fit them was dispensed. Scepticism was in short supply.IThey seemed a bit sceptical about me being able to manage it myself...
The only real solution to the bike theft problem like with all theft, actually, is to remove the limbs of the thief.I remain unconvinced that it will do much good. The odd bike may be recovered as a result, I suppose. It would be interesting to see actual figures when some time has elapsed.
OK, I finally got round to it yesterday, having failed to take pictures of the bike for the last few months. All registered now, and the chip is stuck down the seat tube. It's these things - https://www.immobitag.com/ - if they had made it clear that they wanted to remove your seat, then I might have pre-removed my anti-seat-theft arrangement. I'll be fitting mine at home shortly.
They seemed a bit sceptical about me being able to manage it myself - or they thought I was just going to sell it for drugs money.
