If you could remember to 'bump' this nearer the time it would be most appreciated.

If i could remember it without recourse to a 'bumping' it would be just as good, but i have no control over that...

It's these things - https://www.immobitag.com/ - if they had made it clear that they wanted to remove your seat, then I might have pre-removed my anti-seat-theft arrangement. I'll be fitting mine at home shortly.

They seemed a bit sceptical about me being able to manage it myself - or they thought I was just going to sell it for drugs money.

My associates arrived when they only had one left - that last one was fitted, a code to get more + how to fit them was dispensed. Scepticism was in short supply.

I missed the whole thing, so will have to fall back on the 'ol' faithful' method of owning nothing worth nicking in the first place.

I remain unconvinced that it will do much good. The odd bike may be recovered as a result, I suppose. It would be interesting to see actual figures when some time has elapsed.

Enjoying a drop of red.

The only real solution to the bike theft problem like with all theft, actually, is to remove the limbs of the thief.

It'll never catch on though.

OK, I finally got round to it yesterday, having failed to take pictures of the bike for the last few months. All registered now, and the chip is stuck down the seat tube.

When registering on the site, it is necessary to read the slightly odd instructions to avoid registering it incorrectly and having to do it all over again. It is really a bit weird...
