Announcement from the Board

After a long and honest meeting with Manager Neil Kitching, his assistant Nick Amos and the board of directors, Neil and Nick have come to an amicable agreement that at the end of the current season 2017/18, both Neil and Nick have decided to leave the Football club. We would like to thank them for all their hard work over the past four years in bringing stability back to the club through some very hard times, winning the league, the Staffs Senior Cup, reaching the final of the Walsall Senior Cup; a decent run in the FA Trophy and FA Cup, helping finances. The board of directors would like to take this opportunity in wishing them all the very best for the future going forward. As we are still in the Staffs Senior Cup at the semi final stage could we ask all our fans to get behind Neil, Nick, his back room staff and the team through until the end of the season, thanking you all in anticipation.

The Board.

I've heard a couple of names mentioned for the vacant Rangers job. I'm sure the club have got someone in mind.

I wish Kitch and Amo and all the very best. I wish they were staying.

Mmmm, not been on here for ages! Steve Burr, is the man:- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Burr,

Former player, and has been a fairly common sight at Marston Road. Has been part of the England C (Non-League) managements. Not been universally welcomed by all Boro' fans, and just 2 draws and 2 defeats in the first 4 games, jury is still out! Reduced budget and a new team, the next 2 games will hopefully change fortunes in what has been a very challenging start, long away journeys, and teams who were well placed last season! Next two games no less challenging, Home to Burr's old team Stailybridge & away to STiC. (?)

Awful catering at Marston Road imho, I boycott the feckers.
Wasn't at this one, working! :emo:
I do go watch the football however, and despite some thinking £10 is pretty poor value, I am happy to pay it, its in the blood! Used to attend Stoke when they were in the Premier, as a support worker for a bloke who needed a chaperone, I got far less enjoyment than attending,Marston Road, despite a much much bigger crowd, and more razzmatazz, I got in for free!
