Argos in town moving into Sainsbury's.

We've just been to Blackpool and was looking for the Argos store to buy an adapter plug internet google maps said it was by Macdonalds we walked all the way from the town - to the road we thought it would be on and found it was closed down and moved into Salisbury, couldn't be bothered to walk all the way back - went the next day got it, the Argos store is located right at the back of the store all computerized- press your order into a key pad then collect it. It's a huge sainsbury's at Blackpool and Argos seemed to take up a very small amount of floor space n the shop - not sure how big the wharehouse part was,

It would seem it was abit hazy. However I've been informed the situation changed early 2017 and that now no timeline has been given for a move into Sainsbury's and the town centre store will most likely be operating this Christmas as it's been classed as non priority move.

It's certainly a long way to walk - stick your thumb out and you might Sarumdipitously get a lift.

Rarely use Sainsburys TBH, even though it's closer. Can't help thinking if they closed stores another player would just move in, as the combined store would be too busy.
