I was including travel, food, hotel costs, etc. When you add it up I will have spent close to £3k watching United this season.
Did you get to any of their overseas games - Seville, Basel etc - as travel to these could be looked at as a city break with a football match thrown in rather than just a football match. Similarly a trip to Bournemouth or Brighton (as opposed to Liverpool or Stoke).

I've been looking at just that for Kiev but the prices are way beyond stupid for a couple of nights anywhere safe. I think we're going to be flying in early afternoon and then spending the night in the airport lounge after the game before an early morning flight next day at this rate.

Better a poor sod than a twat on the wind-up.
Wow. Cant we banter other fans now? Has it got to be PC now? "Oi, opposition fan, my team is very good and yours is slightly worse. Take that man, and have a good day".
Hes a united fan. Im pretty sure hes had the craic with just about everyone who supports a differnt team during the fergie years.:quagmire:

Im a liverpool fan. Allez allez allez
Congratulations. I'm not really a fan of the dippers, but I've enjoyed their European adventure this season. Own goals and penalties aside, I especially like the performances of James Milner - the sort of player who doesn't get noticed much but who you'd miss if he wasn't there.

He was my tenant once, he had a room in a house on the Stone Road - excellent guitarist.

Excellent. Nice to think he's got a career waiting for him when he retires from football. (Better than being a TV pundit.)
